This is the best Mexican food in Tennessee by far and its not close. Order an enchilada here and try to eat one anywhere else you'll see what I mean. The cooks care. Waiters can seem like they don't care, but its just a culture difference if you need something flag them down simple as that. Best menu item by far is the Quesabirra its new and the best I have had outside of Texas.

Great place! Delicious fair portioned food, adult cocktails, and outstanding customer service. After being immediately seated we were provided w/ some fresh to order tortilla chips and salsa. After briefly looking over the menu we had to pair the chips and salsa with some fresh guac and small side of quesi (cheese sauce). For my oder, I ordered the house- special aguacate relleno (stuffed avocado shrimp option) and paired it w/ a pina calada margarita on the rocks half salt half sugar rim w/ a lime wedge. My fellow FA on this 3 day Christmas flt sequence Stacie and I was craving some good Mexican food. After talking and asking the working hotel front desk employee(s), this restaurant was favored and highly recommended by most guests. With that said, I personally highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for good tasting Mexican cuisine. This place definitely did not disappoint, and I look forward to coming back and endulging w/ maybe even a dessert next visit here to Knoxville, TN.

This was our first visit to El Sazon. We had immaculate service. Our server got the order right, refilled my drink without asking, was quick, and took time to pull our dirty plates. It was busy while we were there, so we were impressed by our server. I ordered a shrimp and chorizo quesadilla. I didn't care for the cooked tomato wedges, raw green pepper and white american style cheese BUT the cook on my shrimp was perfect. The tomatoes made the whole quesadilla so soggy you couldn't pick it up. I only ate the top of the quesadilla because the bottom was waterlogged. Would I order it again? Yes, minus the veg and cheese. My boyfriend ordered the Molcajete. His was "seriously" amazing! Actually I will just order that next time. We enjoyed our visit and will stop in again. Atmosphere is that of a bar. Kinda dark, but if you want fast service, and authentic Mexican food, you will love it!

Me and my family have been eating here for over 3 years. The food is some of the most excellent Mexican food in the area and very consistent in quality. The service is exceptional. The atmosphere is, for the most part quiet and family oriented, however they do have a bar and they do have people hang out and drink too many margaritas sometimes.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in the knox area . A long drive from my country home but when we are in the area . This is where we eat. Originally from Texas ,we can be pretty picky when it comes to Mexican food. El Sazon nails it . Great food and atmosphere. Almost always get the chicken chimichanga but occasionally mix it up.

I have seen this place here since I was a child yet never stopped in. Well, that changed recently and it did not disappoint! Food was fresh, hot, and seasoned to perfection!! And the salsa, OMG! We will definitely be back again, and again.
